The Strandelhjörn Battery (No. 15)

The Strandelhjörn Battery (No.  ) was armed with a heavy 24 cm gun on a concrete emplacement.

There were separately magazines for grenades and charges.
Beside this there was a very large room, blown by the Danish army 1921. Just the  size of it is interesting.
It was accommodation for the crew with a caponiere, but also the command post.

All that is left of the concrete platform, is a big crater. This crater refers to the demolision, made by the Danish army. At first it was blown with 2200 pounds of black powder, but this only lifted the platform a few metres and then it fell back, relatively unharmed.   A second blow was then made.

The two magazines are intact and visible.
