The Hornbäk Battery was taiken over by the Danish Coastal Defense from the German Navy after the occupation in 1945.
The Battery was abandoned i 1958.
A Danish private was at the Hornbäk Battery in 1946/1947. That was the peaceful days when one war was over and the cold war had not yet occurred.
Even if films were incredible expensive (the silver), he took at lot of pictures during his stay at the Battery.
Luckily they were saved, and his son has left them to me.
